Building of the month

Each month BuildingOxford nominates one of the University's buildings for its building of the month. Pellentesque rutrum, augue sit amet posuere tincidunt, ante ipsum fermentum nunc, et dapibus enim lectus sed velit.

The Pitt-Rivers Museum

In 1884 Lt-General Augustus Pitt Rivers donated his private collection to the University, which then created a building to house it. Started in 1885, the museum was completed in 1886
